Boston Pizza’s Letdown Left Me with Unmet Expectations and Deep Disappointment

Before I begin, I would like to apologize for the lack of pictures. I was not planning on writing a blog post about my dinner last night so I didn’t think of taking any photos of my food.

I do tend to eat out way too much, as many people I’m sure, so next time I will snap a few pics.

My cousin and her family invited me to join them at Boston Pizza in our city in Winnipeg, Mb, on Kenaston.

There ended up being 15 of us with 7 children so it wasn’t a quiet evening out.

I decided to start with the French onion soup, a favourite of mine that I almost always order if it’s on the menu.

The soup was very liquidy and the cheese didn’t cover the top which it should.

I tried to eat it but the soup had no flavour to it so I told the waitress and she took it back. She was very nice about it so no reflection on her.

Next up was their nachos, which I hadn’t had in some time. When served, the toppings and cheese were all in the center, with plain tacos around the edges.

They weren’t the worst yet they also weren’t great.

Not much meat and lots of tacos were 3–4 chips glued together.

It reminded me of eating some cheese and toppings on some cardboard dipped in salsa.

There was nothing to those nachos and they were very disappointing. I didn’t pay for the soup as I hardly ate any and only paid for the nachos.

My score for the supper would be a 4/10 which could be better.

I recently visited a restaurant that deserves a 10/10 rating, but I didn’t take any pictures. I’ll go back and share more details when I can.

It’s an excuse for me to justify spending money hidden inside a food blog post.

Thank you for reading :)
