Salisbury’s House Disappointment

We decided to try the new Sal’s location in our city, which has merged with another restaurant called Chicken Chef. 

You can order off both menus even though the Chicken Chef menu is more limited. The restaurant has few windows, so it has a different feel than the other locations. This one is in a strip mall, so they can’t do much about it. 

Their menu is identical to your typical restaurant/diner menu with breakfast and burgers-style food. 

The service was good, and the food didn’t take long to arrive. 

The breakfast came, and the toast was barely toasted, which wasn’t appetizing. The shredded potatoes were soft and pasty and tasted old. They were terrible and not at all what shredded potatoes should be like. The eggs and sausages were good, and we also had coffee. 

The people who drink their coffee black always joke that Sal’s has the worst coffee, but I overlook that since I use cream and sugar. 

We decided to try this location, and I don’t think I’ll be back anytime soon. 

The food quality was not as good as at their other locations.
