Smitty’s is your typical run-of-the-mill breakfast restaurant, a little like the IHOP.

During the week, they offer a breakfast special that’s not listed on the menu, so you have to ask about it. Otherwise, if you order something else, it’ll be almost double the price.

The restaurant is excellent, yet nothing fancy.

The menu is what you would expect with breakfast items from skillets to omelets to french toast.

The food comes out pretty quickly, even when they are busy.

If you have a large group, that might take more time, but then again, you are usually busy talking. The service is good, and the manager comes around to see how things are doing.

The special was good, and for $9.99, you get a decent portion.

It would be best to ask for your toast to be toasted darker and your bacon to be crispy; otherwise, it might come out a little on the raw side.

Their coffee is very good

The coffee is extra, yet it’s delicious. I put cream and sugar in it, but even those who drink it black agree.

Overall, it was a good breakfast special and not expensive for what you get.
