The Craziness of Costco

Costco always fascinates me no matter how many times I enter the store.

I’m not a frequent shopper there, but I go often enough to know it like the back of my hand.

Before I begin, I would like to say that Costco is a well-run and excellent company, unlike Walmart.

They are very efficient, and their workers are helpful and know what they are doing. I’m in Canada, so that other countries might be different regarding companies like Walmart.

The lineups at Costco are mind-boggling, and while they don’t take long, it’s incredible the amount of crap people buy.

Some are real food, yet most are wants rather than needs, like seasonal ornaments and junk food. Seeing someone buy four gigantic loaves of bread and a pumpkin pie the size of a small pool is funny.

Side note, their pumpkin pies suck.

Have you ever seen the vultures waiting for the sample food to be put out?

It’s like a black Friday sale that happens every day. Costco is a fun store to shop in occasionally, but next time, look around and see how much money they are raking in.

All you will see are professional consumers from end to end.
