People always talk about living expenses and how living alone is much more expensive than living with a girlfriend. 

People tend to have a narrow-minded approach to most things and don’t see the whole picture. Moving in with a female is way more expensive for most men than living alone. 

First off, half the rent won’t last long. 

Once you begin living together, they usually will “need” a bigger space, which costs more money. 

Soon, you’ll pay almost the same rent for a different place. 

Then the expenses will be split, and god forbid if you want to eat the same thing every day. Now you need different meals as they can’t be expected to eat the same thing day after day. 

Then they need makeup, soaps, conditioners, evening clothes, and so on, and it never ends. 

I’m telling you guys, moving in with them is a scam. 

You’ll be wealthier and happier living alone. 

That doesn’t mean you can’t have a relationship, but don’t move in for the money reasons. 

Trust me, you’ll pay more and regret it.
