What is Prolific, and How Much Have I Made So Far?

Prolific is a website that connects you with people, universities, and companies who want feedback in the form of surveys. 

There was a waiting list, yet it took a week for me. 

The surveys are fun; they work great as I spend my days on my laptop. Most are between 1 minute and 5 minutes, and my longest took 29 minutes but paid the most. You get paid in either Pounds or USD, depending on the researcher. 

How much did I make? 

I have been doing surveys since March 28th, and it’s now April 6th, so it’s been nine whole days, and I don’t do many in the evening. 

My total is $57 Canadian, which isn’t bad for something fun and doesn’t take much of my time. At the pace it’s going, that would translate to an extra $200 for the month. There are no guarantees, so it could slow down. 

I’ll stick with it for now and see what happens. 

You’re not locked into anything, so you can do these surveys whenever you want, and there are no penalties for rejecting or not filling them out. 

It’s crucial to act quickly, especially since the good ones fill up fast.
