People in Public Annoy Me

People who use speakerphone in public should be arrested and fined.

These people are primarily inbred, so it’s not their fault. It’s so loud and distracting, and nobody cares about your conversation.

We all know you have a friend or family member on the other end of the line; no need to prove it.

These people want us to think they are popular when we all know the truth.

You know, the type they speak loud, which always involves some mini-drama.

They are either talking about how rich they are or how much money they have or arguing with another person.

There are an assortment of names for these people, such as white trash, ghetto people or rednecks, to name a few.

In the end, it’s all the same bucket of crap.

. . .

Here’s another demographic nobody would miss if they all died in a plane crash: video watchers.

I was recently out for lunch, and three tables over across this smaller diner, there was a booth with two middle-aged ladies.

One of them decided she wanted to show her friend a video in the middle of this cozy, quiet diner that has been around since the beginning of time.

The video starts to play, and it’s loud.

I mean, distractingly loud, and I’m three tables away.

This video goes on for over 5 minutes, and all I can think about is how I wish a car would run through this diner and take them out so we can finish our lunch in peace.

Having someone show me a video is not at the top of my wish list, so listening to other people’s videos triggers me.

. . .

What about those who can’t do anything without their phones in their hand?

Watch an episode of any Real Housewives show, and you’ll see what I mean. It’s like their phone is glued to their hand.

It could be from all the makeup to trick people into thinking they aren’t ditch pigs.

The funny thing is that those housewives on that show all use speakerphone and watch videos in public.

I understand it’s all part of the drama for the show, so it’s a little over the top, yet I’m confident they would act that way whether being filmed or not.

So, next time you see anyone breaking these etiquette rules, rip their phones out of their hands, smash them on the payment, and then walk away.

Okay, maybe we should be less extreme, but I wish we could do that without repercussions.

Life would be way more fun, wouldn’t it?
