The Worst Poker Game I’ve Ever Played In

A friend of a friend was hosting a poker game to raise some money as one of their friends had passed away from Cancer.

Half the proceeds from the game were going to Cancer Care, so I joined the festivities.

Well, this was the most poorly run game I’ve ever seen, and I’ve played some sketchy poker games. There was no structure as to when the game would start, and only five or six of us were playing in total.

The guy running it was never at the table, so we would have to wait for him to return, God knows when, and then we would have to remember who dealt last.

They had four other people hanging around as observers, and one guy kept shouting in my friend’s ear the whole night, which was hilarious.

He kept telling this guy to stop yelling in his ear, but he never stopped as he was drunk.

They did manage to raise some money, which was nice, yet next time, I will choose to donate and not show up. What a freaking gong show that was.

Never again.
